This is the highest quality, most exceptional bracelet of this type I have ever seen. They are a combination of 10 almost identical individual bangles, each one of incredibly fine quality. The foundation of each component bracelet is very thin black plastic thread, acting as the weft - wound tightly around a bamboo base. Fulani women artisans in the most rural areas of Mali create, completely by hand, the extraordinarily detailed patterns of each bracelet by intricately weaving a design with a contrasting color - turquoise in this case - as the warp. This quality is rare; the level of detail and beauty of each bracelet is stunning. We are unable to achieve by our photography an accurate representation of the fineness of the detail of these amazing very thin bracelets.
Each one of these wide bracelets can easily be taken apart so you can opt to wear any configuration of the component individual bracelets by themselves. Once taken apart they remain 10 single bracelets.
This incredibly finely detailed bracelet measures 2 5/8" (7 cm) in internal diameter x 1 5/8" width (4 cm). The component bracelets measure 1/8" (3 mm) in width.
